The process of providing education by Indonesia and financing education so far has not had a significant impact on students’ financial independence and there are still some who cannot continue their studies because of the cost factor. The government uses all means, one of which is making laws to encourage companies to allocate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) budgets with activities carried out by companies directly or through third parties, namely non-profit institutions. Here we use the research method carried out is descriptive and quantitative analysis in the form of interviews and documentation analysis. Based on these studies, Islamic philanthropy andsocial entrepreneurship still have no effect on financial independence
